The chosen theme for the 2026 Hampton Roads Seabee Ball is “Seabee’s of the Pacific”. Given that theme and the many harrowing and courageous stories, it was necessary the artwork depicted the wide swath of missions and accomplishments the Seabees were responsible for. The artwork chosen for the bottle depicts many representations of Seabee ingenuity and determination in the face of adversity. Beginning with the air strip through the heart of the dense, jungle island; Seabees were responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining 111 major airstrips spread across the North, Central, South and Southwest Pacific islands. Of these numerous and vital airfields, some locations proved strategically more critical than others.
